Can't get enuff Toyotas!
Short introduction: I just purchased a 1991 Cressida off eBay: 1-owner, Florida all of its life, cloth, twin power seats, 126K; flew down with my daughter, took our time, drove a zig-zag route home: priceless!
This is my third Cressida: my '83 died young (163K) of rust; my '89 lost a head gasket at 228K and cooked while on loan to my son (saved the running gear, suspension and interior for retrofitting/upgrading my 1941 Chevy 5-passenger coupe [originally a rear wheel drive inline 6; seems only natural to build a ToyoLet!]).
I've also owned 3 MKII Supras: an '82 (stolen, recovered, unrepairable), an '83 which died of rust and a smashed windshield (value of the windshield repair vastly exceeded the value of the car!) at 213K, and an '86 which I still have (currently at 189K and rusting).
In addition, I just passed my '86 MR2 down to my oldest son.
Just can't seem to get enuff Toyotas! Love 'em!
