Hey, New guy with S/C Avalon

Hey Everyone,

Im a newbie on this forum here. I have a 1998 Supercharged Toyota Avalon XLS and she ran a 14.9 with 5psi. I have recently run a 14.7-14.69 with some newer mods. I am pretty well knowlegable about this car so anybody that wants to know anything, just pop me an e-mail or message. Look forward to being on this forum. Thanks!

Lonis

Thanks everyone!

Yeap, a supercharged Avalon! Its definitely not what you expect to pull up next too, and a full leather interior too! how bout that? Its a definite sleeper, because the only visible things you can see in my car are a dual guage pod, my GReddy Evolution, few decals, and besides that, the sweet sounds of forced induction as I leave all those v6 stangs in my area in the dust, haha.

I hope to be putting up some better numbers soon, as i just upgraded to a 2.75" pulley, and some future mods, S-AFC, etc... Thanks again for the support! Look forward to talking to you all on the forum.

"what did you do to knock .2 off ?" -Warped

Warped, I put HP Tokico Shocks in to help control wheel hop off the line, which improved so so much, I am eventually going to get Intrax springs and hopefull some 18's, but til then, and I also got a Venom 400 from a friend who didnt want it anymore and put it in, and said what the hell, I actually think it does affect forced induction a bit, and I felt better throttle response and can hear a increase in airflow. I think people never install it right because there are a billion wires in these cars, and complain because it does shit, but from turnign it on and off, I can definitely tell a difference. I actually went to the Toyota shop that does work on my car occasionally and sat down the guy and went over electrical wiring diagrams out the manuals they own from Toyota and hooked them up to the right wires.
