Hi! I am not yet a Toyota owner, but I hope to be soon. I'm in the market for a new (to me) car and am desperate to find an Echo hatchback. So far, my search is yielding poor results, but I have time to wait. I look forward to reading about others' experiences with Toyota in general, not only the Echo.

Hey! Welcome to TN. Finally more people from Ottawa! yay!

I've been looking around at prices for an echo HB in the past month as well. We don't have a whole lot of choice in our area unfortunately. By the end of next summer, leased 04's should be slowly coming back at dealerships so you will probably have better luck.

In the meantime, check out our forums, especially the echo/vitz section, there's alot of good guys who can help you out alot!

and the bad news - haha! I had a feeling looking for an Echo HB would be difficult in our area. I'm not too disappointed YET, since I'm not 100% sure that's what I want, and a sedan would probably suit me just fine as well. I just don't want to give up the HB yet (currently driving a Civic HB).
