rwd tercel in the making?
hello,
i am new and have a 93 tercel. motor is leaking like no other and both front brearings are shot. tranny is on its way out. i have been considering doing a 4agve 20 valve w/ five speed manual swap from a 93+ truneo. after some thought i have decided that maybe rwd might be the answere i am looking for. i love rwd, especially in a car with starting weight of 1998 lbs! if any one knows the weight of 3ee w/4 speed manual and all the stuff up front it would be a big help. i am going to use a 4agve and the rwd tranny 6 speed from supra or 5 speed from odler ae86. i am definetly going with irs from gt4 celica (i know it can handle a lot of punishment) and am also looking for weight of rear end if possible. i am a certified welder and it will be no problem making a tranny/driveline tunnel and stiffening the body a little. i am interested in weights because i want to make the car as close to 50/50 as possible. any help would be the best! thank you
