somehow i escaped finding this forum for the past few years, glad i found you guys and big hello. i purchased a 89 Toyota Celica GTS from the Long Beach Grand Prix celebrity race series 5 years ago. I have raced this car all over Southern California and Las Vegas. So far have blown the stock 5SFE and a 3SGE replacement. I have done the conversion myself and have pretty much made and replaced every part on this vehicle, it is heavily modified. Has a race fuel cell, lexan windows, carbon fiber hood. The cars life started straight from Toyota Motorsports who creates this cars specifically for the April race in the streets of Long Beach, California. The cars spend the rest of their time at Willow Springs raceway used in a racing school. They are extremely well balanced, great driveability and are a blast to modify and race.
I am really looking for guidance and exchange of mechanical information on taking the next step to upgrade the car to a 3SGTE. look forward to chatin and helping out where i can.
