Hi Toyota drivers!
Hi all,
I just stumbled upon this nice forum and wanted to make my first post. I'm in the process of purchasing a red 2000 Echo with 93,000 miles on it. I've taken the car for a test drive and can't believe how great it drives. My latest experiance with a fuel sipping car is with a automatic Suzuki Alto that sounds like it's going to blow up at 120Kph.
My wife also owns a 99 Toyota Sienna that she's been really happy with other then a few things that aren't the fault of Toyota but of a previous owner.
I owned an 83 Toyota Corolla in the past that I believe was the best bang for the buck vehicle that I've ever owned. Hopefully, the Echo will treat me half or three quarters as well at the old Corolla did.
Since 2000 was the first year of the Echo. Are there any first years design flaws that I should be aware of that might help me to head off some problems.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention. I'm switching over from a 2000 Nissan Maxima that has been a very good car over to the Echo. It just doesn't make sense to me to drive a car that gets 24 mpg on super in the country.
Thanks,
Jason
