USA Newbie - 05 Celica GT-S owner here

Bought the last model of the Celica available in the US, I was drunk when I bought it on a whim because I was sad to hear they weren't going to make it anymore. I love it, no regrets here except I wish I had gotten the 6spd manual, but the automatic with steering wheel shifter is great for the So Cal traffic. I've always owned Toyotas, started with a 85 Tercel 4WD wagon, loved that car, it could go anywhere. Then I got an 85 Camry, that thing was much faster than my Tercel and a nice smooth ride. Then I got a 1990 SR5 PU extra cab 2WD. Then I got my first Celica a 1993 GT-S 5 spd, and I was in love. Held all my surfboards inside with the seats down, I could sleep in it with the seats down, the only thing i wish was that I had gotten the AWD one. If I had I never would have let it go, I still regret getting rid of it! But I put 200,000 miles on it. Then I got a 2001 SR5 extra cab Pre-runner Tacoma, wish I had gotten the 4WD when i got it buried in 3 feet of mud in Death Valley and had to hike 24 miles til I found someone else out there who could help me get to civilization. After that experience I was detached from the truck, didn't really like it as much anymore, then I heard Celica's were going the way of the Dodo so after a few beers found myself at a dealership and an hour later driving home in a new Celica GT-S. I love it, it's just like my 93, but faster, quieter, and still pretty cool looking. I've had it up to 135 on a local toll road and it handles like a dream. I love getting it up above 6000 rpm!

(enerjohn's formal TN greeting)
Ah, so you've taken the red pill...good, Welcome to the fold!
Whatever questions you have about your Toyota can almost ALWAYS be answered
here in the forums.
From Engine to Exterior, someone here has been through it, so don't be afraid to ask questions.
Check out the gallery, there's some pretty sweet rides in there.
The Arcade is cool also.
Have fun!
