In 1975 my uncle let me use his '72 corolla when I need some wheels
man did that think take a beating and never quit
In 1978 a buddy and I got to use his Dad's new Corolla to take to
Colorado to visit another buddy this was the 1st time I flew in a
car and all we had to do was replace the splash pan it did not
even knock the alignment off
In 1990 a former Boss became A Service Manager of a Toyota
store and I went to work for him,And bought the '88 Toyota PU
that was a lot truck and it had a plow on it that truck also pulled
my 16' Starcraft boat with a 90hp motor and the truck is still
running today !
So....With the nasty gas prices $3.22 today
I know it was time to save 10mpg K-2500 for the weekend
adventures,I knew what I wanted was A Tercel Coupe with A/C
and in a light color.I really thought I would never find one untill
Thursday and I found one on line 300 miles away called the guy up and he said he would save it untill I could get up there in Saturday.
The Tercel WAS Everything the guy said it was and drove it home
it needs a few little things but A '96 with just 111,000 actual miles
I'm the 3rd owner and the 1st one out of the family and got all the
records since day 1
I'm looking forward to this site with all the Great information
