Thumbs up obligatory new thread. :)

hello. jimmy here from orange county, california. currently driving a 99 honda accord ai4dr POS. been car shoppin & comparing lately.. lookin to buy within the next 8-10 months (long ways away, but can never be too prepared. potential prospects so far: 06-07 accord ex-v6, 07 camry se-v6, and an 06-07 altima 3.5 se. so far the camry's in the winning.. since i'm waiting bout 8-10 months to buy, i'm sure all the kinks'll work out for the car by then (ie: tranny probs i read bout the xle and le models, etc).

my previous cars were:
- '88 bmw 325i sedan
- '88 acura legend coupe
- '01 toyota corolla ce (goodness, sorry but that was such a waste of money. i'd been better off in the old bmw)

and now the accord, which has seen it's better days and needs to retire, and my driveway needs something prettier and sleeker and well.. better.

aaaaanyways.. dont know what to put here.. um...i work full time at south coast plaza doing visual merchandising for restoration hardware..

hmm.. yup that's it i think. i'm sure i'll find TN a very useful place to be a part of.

Welcome. In 8 - 10 months you might want to consider a 4 banger due to the gas prices. You really can't lose with the 3 cars you singled out, personallu I'd take the Camry, maybe the Honda if the price was right, but the Nissan I'd place in a distant third.

yea the gas price thing is a thinker... even with insane prices in cali... we all continue to just drudge along and deal with it. i may be getting a better paying job soon, so that should even out the v6... at least it can run on 87 and not 91! goodness, if it ran on 91, i would def consider the 4cyl...

only reason why i'm not is because i want it to be for once, a nice new car, that is better than my current. the new 4cyls put out maybe 10-15 more hp than my current car, and that's not enough for me... even though work/home is less than a 10mi round trip... it's nice knowing it's there. iono, maybe it's just me. :p haha.
