Just bought my second Toyota 3 days ago. My first was a 2003 Carolla S w/03 Cellica GT wheels that I had for about a month (bought it put the wheels ($180 w/ Yokahama tires) on and sold it). My new purchase is a 1996 Avalon XLT that I bought for $500. It needed a windshield ($160), drivers seat (free), drivers door ($150 color matching besides the stripe that has ben removed), corner lamp ($20), and a clean up (free). Does anyone have any advice on any upgrades that can be done as I plan to keep this one if for no other reason than the performance to price ratio. Thanks for any help and any I can lend.

Nothing much performance you can do w/ an Avalon. I think all you can get performance wise would be the TRD supercharger for the 1mz-fe. I'm pretty sure it will fit.

You can also go the route of custom turbo kit.
