Just Like To Say Hi

Hello, I am new to the forums. I've come here a couple of times because I was once very interested in the Corolla GT-S (thanks to Initial D... hah). I am a big Volvo fan and plan to buy an 850 Turbo in the new future, but for now I plan on buying a 95+ Toyota Tercel to learn how to drive stick... or well that and learn how to drive too haha.

Welcome! Remind me to stay off the footpaths if ever i'm in your neck of the woods if your driving a Volvo

In all honesty though, I hope you enjoy the learning experiance that TN can give. And also the community atmosphere.

Welcome, and great choice on getting a manual Tercel. Trust me, you'd learn a whole lot more about driving (and have tons of fun too) if you learn it on an underpowered car like the Tercel. If it's a Volvo turbo then you wouldn't come to appreciate things like more power and handling skills when you're ready to move on to something more powerful in the future. Just my 2 cents on that. Besides, with gas prices we get nowadays, having a turbo ain't really such a good thing for a daily car.

Enjoy your stay here in TN.
