USA 2000 4-Runner New Member w/AC question

I have owned Toyotas since 1990 and swear by them. Last year I purchased the 4-Runner to tow a travel trailer. I have had an intermittent problem with the AC controller's Automatic, Defroster and AC switches not working. The other switches (outside air temperature, vent selection and off) all work properly, all the time. When one switch is not working, all three are not working.

Just want to know wherer to proceed from here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
