I own two 1986 Camries: One loaded LE I've owned since 1987 (200K miles) and another DLX I bought 2 years ago (215 K miles). The first one has been such a great car, I gave that one to my mom and just had to have another one!! I was fortunate that the last one was purchased new by my friend's parents and was well maintained. Other than the normal repair items (CV axles, fuel pumps, etc) and tune-up stuff neither has ever suffered a major malfunction! Can't say that for an american made 1986 anything!!
