2001 Camry LE power window problem

I'm so happy to find this forum! I don't know if this is the right thread for my window problem but if it's not, please let me know where else to post it.

My 90 year old father just gave up driving and I'm the happy recipient of his 2001 Camry with only 11,800 K on the odometer. What could go wrong, right? Well, I just discovered that the driver's power window stops working intermittently. I usually can open it, but more and more it doesn't always want to close. It just stops working in the middle of closing. If I wait 5 minutes, or turn the car off and restart it in a few minutes, then it always then closes. But the problem keeps repeating.

Any ideas what's wrong?
