My name is Bert and I just bought my first Toyota. It's a 1994 regular cab two wheel drive. It has 186865 miles on it. No power steering but it has the coldest factory A/C I've ever enjoyed. It's a five speed. It was formerly owned by a mechanic and serviced regularly. It amazingly does not use or leak oil. The clear-coat is pealing on the roof and part of the hood and it has a very few dents and nearly zero rust. The interior is great for that many miles. The clutch is tight and the transmission is tight. My ears pop when I roll the window up at highway speed.
I had been looking for a Toyota pick up for weeks and they are scarce in decent condition.
The drivers seat belt latch is missing the plastic but still works. Today I replaced the plug wires because there was evidence of of arcing...that grey powdering on the black wires. It wasn't missing nor stumbling but I thought it was cheap insurance to put on a new set of premium wires anyway. Also the windshield washer pump is missing in action. I guess a trip to the salvage yard is in order.
