another AE86 project

Hiya all!

I just bought my new car. OK OK, so it's 22 years old. I've been lookin for one of these to fix up for a while now. I HAD a 1980 SR5 back in 88 and I miss it still.

Anyway, now I've got an 85 SR5. It's not a gts but .... there's still plenty of mods available for it aren't there?

I have to rebuild the engine and ADD an exhaust system, but I'll end up with a decent lightweight rear wheel drive car to race in right?

SO, I'm new here and any help with anything would be great. Like... how do I add pics of my new little project and where should I post updates on it. AND of course any links to the best mods at the cheapest prices...

If it's an AE86 than yeah, there is alot you can do to it. You can swap in parts from a GTS and any AE86 suspension upgrades. Check out Club4ag for more info.

I don't have any advice, I just wanted to say congratulations. You seem so excited I hope the remodeling goes well for you.
