Hi, my name is Mike and I am looking at buying a Tacoma. I have been looking for a few months now and as my lease is about to expire on my 04 TL, I am getting serious now.

I am not sure if I am going to buy new or used yet. I also am still looking at the XRunner and the PreRunner trying to decide between them.

I have noticed that the engine size was changed in 05, is that the year that the 4.0 liter engine came in? Anyone have any data on the hp changes that were in the 4.0 over the 3.4?
