Introducing Myself, thinking of buying a 2000 MR2 Spyder, can I drive it in winter?

Hi all.

It said "introduce yourself here," so hello. My name is Chris. I'm thinking of buying a 2000 MR2 Spyder with 28,000 miles on it. The problem is, I'd have to drive it all winter, and I wonder what you all think about that? I've never owned a convertible, and I'd like to, but i can only afford one car. I live in Massachusetts, so it snows a lot. Any feedback would be terrific.

First of all welcome to TN. hope you find everything you need here.
secondly, with winter obviously comes rust. if you rust proof the car well and wash it regularly, I dont see what the problem is with driving it in the winter. so i'd say, go for it. the spyder is really nice
