newbie from Miami
I am "artie in miami" and just joined the forum. I am a chemistry teacher in a high school (for 17 years) and like to tinker. One of my buddies here in the sunshine state sold me his 1995 toyota T-100 pickup for $1,000 !! Runs great, a/c ice cold and has 180,000 miles on it...he bought a new tundra and had no further use for this. So I put my 1990 GMC Suburban in the yard and am driving this to and from work. What a differance in the gasoline consumption...the Suburb got around 6-8 mpg around town ( has a "411" rear end...previous owner ordered it specially for towing...it can tow a battleship !!). I usually do all my own work on the chevies...but this is a whole, new dimension of mechanics !!
I am anticipating needing many questions answered.
