Hello i am definetly new to toyota. i own 2 Subaru Impreza's and i am going to be swapping one of my 2400lb 1995 imprezas with a 2002 WRX engine. i joined this forum because my friend drives a 99 corolla CE and he wants to get more horsepower from his corolla. i joined so i could help him get more info on the swaps. what i have learned so far by searching and reading posts is that a toyota requires a lot more fabrication and custom work to swap the engine than a subaru. He wants to build up his 1ZZ and i was leaning twards the 2ZZ swap. the 2ZZ swap looks like it will cost a lot more money than hes willing to spend. So how much potential does the 1ZZ have? how much HP has someone gotten out of the 1ZZ? How much horsepower does the TRD supercharger add to the 1ZZ?
