2nd Generation First time Gen2 Camry owner

Hello everyone, I just got my first Toyota, it's a 1990 Camry so as I was looking to familiarize myself with it I found this forum and decided to join up.

It's a white 1990 DX with the 3S-FE 115hp engine, 5 Speed Manual, 138,000 miles, 4-door Sedan. It had one owner who kept great maintenance records and it was always garaged. Aside from 2 small spots of rust near the front tires it looks almost new inside and out. I drove it several miles and it seemed to run great.

138K seemed like an awful lot of miles but it looked so good, ran great and the owner kept such thorough records and documentation I took a chance and bought it for $1,300.

I had to edit this remove the all-trak part, the manual said 4WD but when I looked up the model number it says it's not.

that car is a tank... we've had an 88, an 87 and now an 89 camry. 2 of them had the 3sfe engine, got over 250k on the first one before the body rusted out (engine still ran!), and decided to sell the second one at just over 200k in favor of the v6 on the current camry.

you'll get lots of life out of it with good care.
