i have a timing problem
hey how are yall.......i have a 94 toyota pickup 22re 2 wheel drive....my friends and family call it the 100,000 dollar truck....it has pace header header...jet performance comp in it...k and n cold air intake...flowmaster......and a nice sound system with rims all i lack is a fancy paint job.......but i ran into a problem.....my timing guides broke and im guessing the chain got caught between the sproket and it jumped time......i took the valve cover off and saw black plastic in the bottom of the timing cover and i turnt the crank to the timing mark and also i checked to see if the rotor cap was facing the num 1 plug on the dist and it didnt it was facing the 2nd plug ......but any ways...would there be a problem with it bending the valves thats what im concerded about...it didnt run hot, it has plenty of oil and water.....but let me know if yall know the answer to my Queston...thank u
