Just picked up a 01 Toyota Highlander white/taupe. 59K on it you would think it's new the way it looks and drives. Peruzzi Toyota in PA. This is one awesome dealer. They had to jump it as the battery was dead. Knowing mom only will put a little over 1000 miles a year on it (food shopping and bowling 3 days a week) I asked for a new battery and they put one right in. The matts and cargo area shade was missing and they are giving me those as well. Very nice professional dealer to work with. It was the first time I bought from a dealer and didn't feel I was getting ripped off or stresses out by the time I was leaving! The Highlander was a Toyota Certified suv. I basiclly bought it for mom because she had a 91 Exploreer that was just about done. Tired of the failure rate of most american cars out there and always hear how everyone loves Toyota and liked the looks of the Highlander. Mom who is 73 loves it and I think I'll be trading in my 98 Chev pick up for a new Tundra. Seems like Toyota is the only way to go anymore if you want something that will last without taking out your wallet along the way. I've never been more happy with a car just driving it home from a dealer. It amazed me how new it feels. I was telling some friends if it was a Ford with those miles it would be just about ready for the junk yard! Glad I found this forum so now I can keep up with all the info!
