This is my first time, posting on the Toyota Forum and I have 2 questions.I bought my wife
a 2005 Avalon Limited last year and have changed my own oil for the last 30 years.The dipstick for the oil doesn,t have any real way to read it, just 2 holes on the dipstick showing what should be up to the 6.4 quarts it takes. I have let the dealer change the oil & filter up to now, but what to know if there is an aftermarket dipstick I can buy that has a better readout.
2nd Question- Under hard acceleration, the car gives off a rotten egg smell and I only use
unleaded gas not premium, if I switched to a higher grade of gas would this cure the problem or is it something else that the dealer should look at.
