I own a 2003 toyota matrix.. its a great little car and have had no difficulties or complaints.. but it is getting old enough to start showing a few signs of wear and I want to be able to keep it up and do as many of the repairs as I can.. those I can't I will have done at a dealership if I have too.. right now my "malfunction indicator light" has come on and nothing is malfunctioning. The book tells me to take it to a dealer, which scares the heck out of me.. if anyone has any suggestions as for as getting the thing turned off please let me know. I will take it to a dealer if I have to.. but since I lnow nothing about it, I will have no idea if what they tell me is true or not.. is this thing simple or complicated?
