G'day everyone, I've got a problem I hope someone can solve for me.
I've got a 1990 Hilux twin cab ute (utility) 2.4 litre diesel, sometimes referred to as a truck in the States. The factory-fitted radio aerial has been snapped off, and I want to replace it with a spring-based aerial to avoid the same thing happening when I go into the bush (or wilds).
My problem is how to access behind the dashboard to plug in the replacement lead. I had hoped that the glove box/compartment might be removeable, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Then I tried the driver's side,
almost removed the panel under the steering column but can't see how to remove the choke knob. Anybody got a simple answer? The dawg'll love you.
