Hello gearheads

Hi everybody,

I haven't owned a Toyota since I sold my venerable old '85 4x4 pickup years ago, but I'll probably be spending quite a bit of time here nonetheless.

I'm a gear head through and through, and I'm hoping for some help on my current project toy (I'm building up an '85 Cosworth/Mercedes 2.3-16 street/race car). Surprisingly the engine designs between my old MB and the newer toyotas is very similar, so I'm hoping to take advantage of some of the go-fast tricks that the toyota crowd have discovered. Unfortunately, the mercedes tuning crowd here in the US leaves a bit to be desired, so I have to go where the knowledge leads me......
