Did at any year the supra come with the 2jz-gte engine right out of the dealership? (yrs of interest 1992-1998)

I think it did from 94-99 ?? not sure on that, but it did come from the factory with the 2JZ.

2JZ-GTE was in the supra till it died in I THINK 2001. MAY have been as late as 2002. I forgot.

the 2jz-gte was offered as an option on Supras, with a 6 speed manual optional ONLY on the Turbos..

the "Base" supra had the 2jz-ge with a 4 speed auto, or a 5 speed manual.

the turbo was available from 1993-1998 in the US, and up until 2001 in japan..

the 2JZ-GTE was 1st introduced in the Aristo V300 (Lexus GS300) in 1991..
