Hello from NC
I'm Kris from North Carolina and I joined Toyota Nation because I ended up with an 82 Corolla Wagon that I bought for my kid to drive. I felt kind of bad driving my airbag/ABS equipped Volvo and making my kid drive the old Corolla so I traded with her. The old 3TC runs great and it has the 5 speed manual trans so it's kind of fun to drive. Last owner hauled animals of some kind in it and it still sort of smells like dog or something. Anyway I'm going to replace the carpet, get the front seats redone, get er painted etc. At some point I'm going to yank the 3TC and take it up the road to BRD Racing in Statesville and have them set it up as a hot street motor. Then I should be the oldest old-school rice driver in town - anything to embarass my teen age daughters. haha
