Proud Toyota Owner

I can finally call myself a Toyota Onwer. We took delievery of my first Toyota (and my first car!) last Saturday. It is a 1994 Corolla 5 speed with the 4A-FE engine, with exactly no options from '94. Not even the clock. That being said, I absolutely love the car and I'm hoping to get many years and a lot more miles out of it (it has 153,0xx now). If this car works out well, I hope to get another (newer) Toyota later on some years down the road.

This website has been great so far and I look forward to reading it every day!

Here's some pics of the car:

It's very clean, with only some minor surface rust on the back fenders around the doors. My uncle does amazing body work, and he said that he could do it for about $200 this summer. The only problem that the dealer noted with the car on the window sticker was that the catalytic converter was "weak", so I went to AutoZone yesterday and picked up a universal fit for $90, and I'll hopefully install that this weekend or next.

Congrats on your purchase. It's a car that will last you a long time. 153,000 miles is NOTHING on a corolla. That car is still just a baby.

Enjoy the Rolla and your stay here at TN.

yea, 153,xxx is where is just the beginning. You prolly got about another 2xx,xxx miles to go. Many members on the forum have been over the 300,000 mile mark and still going. Congratulations on picking up your car. 5 speed, are rare from toyota these days. If you have any questions, I am pretty sure that the members on the forum will help you, and I will do the same. Until then, Welcome to TN, Enjoy your stay. LOL

I have about 90,xxx + on it and hopefully from everyone tells me it will last for a long time to come. Hope this is true. I love this website, I just installed my stereo system into it this weekend and plan on doing much more to it. I got all the info I needed to take off the front panels and side interior panels to get the job done right here off this site, a big thanks to all. Have a good weekend to everyone.
