First time truck owner

Hello fellow taco lovers. allow me to introduce myself. my name is Randy, i'm from socal, 24 years old.. and i think i am going to make this my primary home for a long time to come i gotta say, one key reason why i picked a tacoma over a ranger or a frontier is the big aftermarket and community support. plus my older brother used to have a 94 toyota pickup with bags and a healthy dose of TRD engine mods and i always loved that truck.

but up until recently i had only owned little import racers. i had 2 '88 CRX's and an '01 eclipse. both CRX's had motor swaps and major mods. and the eclipse was my showy car. it was a beautiful specimen until i had an unfortunate accident in it about 2 weeks ago. so with the insurance money i knew what i wanted next, and that was my tacoma. after so many years ya just get tired of slowing down for every driveway, pothole, and speed bump. i wanted something i could drive with confidence and sit higher up for once. and ive been loving every minute of it

What do you have planned?

well ive already done the black headlight mod. i had plenty of experience ripping open headlights and doing custom retrofits in my old eclipse so i didnt hesitate at all doing that after only owning the truck for a week. but other than that all i have planned so far is a bigger wheel/tire combo, some tinted windows(prob 35% all around), color matched door handles, and maybe an intake and exhaust. gonna keep the suspension stock for a while until i decide whether or not to keep it long term.
