For some reason when I have the AC on putting an extra load on the engine and 2 of us in the car, and I accelerate or go up a hill the valves start rattling like a low octane problem. Also if I put some high test in the car this problem will go away making me think this is an octane problem. On older cars you just needed to bump up the timing a little to get rid of this problem. Since this car is computer controlled I wonder what can be done to stop the rattle without having to buy high test,( this is a 1.8 engine and there is no reason that it shouldn't run just fine on regular?????!!!!!!!
