Hi just joined yesterday, im 18 years old and i have a Celica GT-four ST185 the insurance for it is a bit steep but it dont bother me. Any way it is the wide arched model and I have been looking at buying some new rims and lowering springs, The only problem is I dont want to spend money getting the arches modified in any way, I was also looking at low profile tires. Can anyone tell me what the biggest wheels I can put on with out them rubbing the arches and at the same time be able to lower the car 20mm all round?

I think you would be happy with a 17 inch wheele with w 215/45/17 size tire. You should not have to mod your wheel well at all after you lower it. What type of rimes are you looking at! Lets see some pics! Keep us updated on the ride. WELCOME TO TN BRO!
