1996 Paseo PO171 code
Hi,i have a po171 code that dont whant to go away.my paseo is a 1996 automatic with 5efe engine with MAP sensor not the MAF one.I have done a obd2 check with proscan program and here are the results:
Freeze frame data:
Load:64%,Stft: 2.34, Ltft: 33.59, Imp: 9.28inhg, speed 45kph, rpm: 2023, Ect: 172 F,
All test came back ok except for catalyst that says incomplete.I have check the o2 sensors and the upstream one seems to works ok = 0.2 to 0.8v with ok fluctuation.
Downstream one is almost flatliner with 0.1 to 0.2v variation.
I have check for vacuum leaks and did not notice any.Car has new spark plugs and recent injection system clean up by toyota dealer.
Can the downstream o2 sensor give a po171 code? the non continuous monitoring tests says o2 sensor are ok.Any ideas what is going on?
