The odor is caused by the growth of fungus usually on the surface of the evaporator core.you can take it to the dealership but they charge normally too much to get rid of this problem.or you can do this by yourself you need a aerosol desinfectant for car air condition systems.If you familiar with your engine you can do that by yourself then.
