New to Virginia - New to Toyota!
Hello toyotanation..
I just moved out to northern Virginia from Wyoming for a dream job. I was in the Navy for 4 years as a Sonar Technician, and now I develop an undersea warfare digital support system. I'm new to the east coast, but so far its been great (besides the humidity).
About 2 weeks ago I purchased my first new vehicle. I did months worth of research to find out what would be the best vehicle in every aspect, and as you all well know the Tacoma dominated. Style, price, dependability, value, quality.. on and on. On top of that, the dealer (Miller Toyota) had an '07 closeout price on most of their Tacomas. Just so happened that the one I wanted didn't have a closeout price, but they gave me a deal anyways. So, I had a new Taco QC TRD Sport 6spd for $400 over invoice. Tax in VA is only 3% so my grand total was well under MSRP!
Anyways, I am lovin' this truck. It's hard to walk away without looking back every 10 feet. So far I've ordered the URD short shifter and the AFE cold air intake. Soon I'll look at getting a 3"+ lift and get rid of the road tires.
Glad to be a part of this forum. As a newbie, I'll be sure to research any questions I have before I post ( has to be the biggest point every forum makes).
