Hey Guys, newbi here.

Well i just bought a 71 toyota hilux so i figured i should get on a forum to get some help on some stuff.
first off plans for it. im going to bag it and body drop it to the doors. i want to put discs up front and maybe a 22r in it.
My questions to start. if i got spindles off of a newer toyota would they bolt to the control arms on the hilux? And how much different is the mounting of the 22r then the 18r. would it be a very difficult swap to go with a 22r and 5 speed?
This will be my second truck build. My first was a 92 s10 blazer, bagged with a small block out of a corvette. i plan on body dropping it after i build the hilux.
I also have a 98 tacoma that i drive when the weather isnt nice or i dont have enough gas money to drive my blazer.
here are some pics.

this was before it was done, so it is very messy!

I love the 71 hilux! I dream of buying a truck like that for the winters.

Know anything about the 00 Blazers? I've got a Bravada that I want to mod a bit.
