Technician new to TN. Howdy.
Hey all. I'm new here to TN, just stumbled across the site a few weeks ago. I've been hanging around the usenet Toyota groups for several years, but the ridiculous amount of OT posts keep me from checking in there as much as I used to. I like talking about cars more than politics, so hopefully the moderators keep the OTs out of the tech forums here.
Anyway, I'm a Toyota and ASE Certified Master tech and I enjoy helping people figure out how to get stuff done on their own cars (though I am currently taking a 4 year break to serve in the USAF by working on F-16s). I've loved fixing cars since I was 15, and I get a kick out of helping people experience the satisfaction that comes along with doing work to their own machines. All it takes is some guidance, be it in the form of a book or advice from someone else who has experience, some tools, and most importantly the willingness to be patient and learn a little something about the piece of equipment that we all rely on for our daily existence.
So anyway, I have access to TSBs, campaigns, tech data, and all sorts of cool stuff, and I look forward to helping out those looking for any advice or tips.
