AE92 Me & My 20V...

Sup Toy FanZ!!!!

Im new here on TN, from sunny South Africa! I have been browsing TN for some time now, and I must say there are some awesome machines in this place!
Anyways I currently own a 1994 Conquest 160i Sport (AE92 4A-FE), which I bought as a factory standard vehicle, with 200 000 kms on the clock. I drove her till 225 000 and then yanked out the old 4A-FE and chucked in a BT 20V, mated to a 5spd 20V gearbox (or tranny as you gents call it) and is hooked up to a Mr. Turbo EFI.

The engine is still untouched...in fact Im even using the original factory header and downpipe. The only goodies that I added on were:
- an MSD Coil,
- bigger fuel pressure regulator,
- 57mm exhaust,
- Precision ram tubes.
and I also did some colour coding in the engine bay...

When I 1st tuned this setup (minus the regulator and ram tubes), the car made 166.2hp and 166.5nm.

Near plans include doing the 7A-GE 20V, LS, Toda cams + verniers, bigger brakes, and a 4-fogger nitrous setup.

On the styling side, I have a set of Racing Sparco 16" rims which rides on Toyo Proxes 205/45/16 tyres. I added a front chin spoiler, and slapped on my black stripes (not everyone's cup of tea...but hey I love it!)

ICE:
Pioneer MP3 head-unit,
XTC Audio 4" Splits (Front)
Pioneer 4-way 6x9's (rear)

I do have a 10" RockfordFosgate which I stick in sometimes for some bass, but most of the time, the head-unit stays off, coz the music the engine makes sounds waaaaaaaay better...

Will post some pics of the car soon!

Anyways I look forward to chatting to all you.

Later!!
