New to Toyotanation
I live in the great white north of Connecticut and purchased my first Toyota the day before our last Nor'easter hit March 16, 2007. My husband and I ventured out to explore the capability of our new FJ Cruiser and were extremely impressed with the performance. When setting the compass, we discover this animal can cut through parking lots with two feet of snow and we weren't even in four wheel drive! It is a monster. I am the primary driver of this vehicle but my husband throughly enjoys it when he can get it away from me. We currently own a Subaru and were blown away by all wheel drive until the FJ. So far we have racked up 10,000 miles, driven to South Carolina and Maine many times and have discovered the best gas mileage is when only using premium gas. We are currently adding additional interior lights and contemplating some modifications to make our FJ "unique". Now we know this color (Voodoo Blue) is no longer available so, we are trying to be suttle with changes and amke our vehicle slightly different.
