Hello all, I'm a software developer for Dresser, Inc. I joined this forum to try and get my 1988 Toyota MR2 going. I'm not looking to race her, just drive her as I love 2 seater cars. The MR2 I acquired is in near mint condition. However the motor sufferred a major overheat and it had been stored. I bought the car from my father in-law hoping to bail him out of debt and get the car workin. So far, I've had a hell of a time trying to find a garage up to the task of replacing the motor. Seems ashamed to have to scrap this car.
Since I can't post any pictures, if your curious as to what the car looks like, send me an e-mail. I'm looking for a good shop to put the engine in. Any ideas, please let me know.
