Rusty frame 1998 Tacoma

I have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 V6 that has a nice, straight rust-free body and a very clean interior. 1 major problem though. The frame is rotted all to hell. Is this a problem that can be fixed or controlled, or is it time to unload it ? I would really like to keep it though, it runs and looks great! Also, is this a common problem with these trucks ?

same problem

I have a 1997 tacoma, perfect in every way, well maintained, spotless rust free body, never in a accident..................frame rusted to sh#t, Mechanic said it won't pass inspection, can't be fixed for a reasonable price(taking car apart and installing new or used frame) best I can do is drive it to a salvage yard and see what I can get to part it out!, Can you believe this! I paid 10,000.00 for this 2 yrs ago, still own about 3,000 to the bank and it's worth maybe 2,000 grand, 140,000 on the engine and it runs great.
any ideas?

So far:

I have put almost 2000.00 into the frame of this 98 Taco. Toyota should be ashamed of themselves for building something like this. And worse then that allowing something like this to continue without some sort of assistance to the customer. This will be the last Toyota I will ever buy. What good is it to have a beautiful truck that runs like a top, with a frame that looks like it came out of a field off a 1910 model T.
FYI: I live in Columbus OH and there is an excellent frame shop over here who has been keeping me on the road so far. Here is his link:

Good luck to you with your rusty Taco.
