Hey everyone my name is Matt, I am from Victoria, BC Canada. At the moment I am driving a 2003 Corolla, but I am saving a little more cash up to go buy a Tacoma. I have few questions first if anyone would mind answering them. Can the 2008 Tacoma run on E85? Would it be easy and cheaper just to go down to washington and buy a truck there, seeing as the dealers up here are charging us almost 30% more? Does anyone find it hard to go offroading or carry heavy cargo using 6 speed manual?

Vehicles designed to run on E85 require modifications, as far as I can tell Toyota has not offered a truck designed for this fuel.

Find out any issues for buying a USA car and taking it to BC such as sales and VAT tax, emissions, etc. Call a vehicle registration place and ask these questions.
