i am going today to take my final test and i guess they said the regular army is what is for me, so now i am getting married, at the age of 18 big big test, well yeah, umm i gotta do basic tranning first then then i get stationed then i get around a 40k signing bonus instead of a 20k so i will have money for a better supra, now i think i will be able to get my 89 and my 98)) they said they think i will prolly be eather stationed in texas kentucky or overseas i am personally hopeing for something down south around texas arizona lower cali florida something down, over seas wouldent be that bad i guess but that fact that i would not be able to get my car unless i bought one over seas then i gotta pay a lot of money to get it shipped over here, off the top of the head does anyone know a base rate for getting a car shipped from europe to the us, i really dont wanna look it up like how much for a 98 supra please dont give me a like i just want like a guesstament, dont have to be right on just an edguacated guess please.
Unless things have changed, when I was in the Army (not that long ago) if you get a signing bonus it is dished out in small pieces over your enlistment. When I was in I had a signing bonus of 20k....so that was 5 per year, then it was diveded into quarterly so I got $1250 every three months, after taxes it was like $800 . I thought I was getting 20 upfront, wrong. Hope things have changed since then but I doubt it.
