New to ToyotaNation

Hi, Looks like this is a great place for toyota info!
Just bought my wife a 2007 Highlander. Has all the options she wanted short of a power drivers seat. Anyone know if you can swap the manual seat with a power one without any issues (i.e airbag, power source)? I heard you need to have the dealer program it to accept the side airbag once you remove the original. Anyone have experience with this. Anyone seen any used power seats for sale?

welcome to tn As far as power seats you will need a different chassis level wiring harness as well as a lot of other modifications that are done at the factory level. The amount of money you would spend on a power seat assy. and all the wiring and ecus would be outrageous. I would just leave the seat as is its just one less thing that you will have to fix later.

I like manual seats, my first camry had power seats, and after I found out the cost of a replacement seat frame i was glad to have manuals on both the 1998 camrys I bought.
