Canada Avalon Owner New To TN

Just to say hi, eh. I live in Vulcan AB Canada (eh). Just bought a 2007 Avalon Touring in the US and imported it to Canada.

I fit the age profile, being in my 60's. More to my point, I fit the Avalon - really like the car's power, comfort and goodies.

I have questions about converting the car to metric. Is this a good place to ask, or is there another forum that is better?

Welcome! Where abouts is Vulcan? I've never heard of it...

as for converting to metric...it can probably be done by swapping in a gauge cluster, but....on the new avalon...that's going to cost more than a pretty penny for sure

Vulcan is in Alberta, between Calgary and Lethbridge.
The swap would be "nice" but not absolutely necessary. I just haven't been able to find any info on what it would take. I don't like to ask a dealer (yet) because they are still trying to deal with a stronger C$ which has just nailed their pricing hard, and they aren't keen on hearing about cars bought in the US. Incidentally, I saved about $6,000. by buying in Montana instead of Alberta
