New and first time Toyota owner
I just bought a 99 Solara. TRD stage 3 without ground effects. Has the SC, front tower brace, sway bar, bigger brakes, (catback?) exhaust, short throw shifter, K&N air filter.
I'm here to learn what other mods I can do. I used to own a DSM and know lots about both NA and turbo DSM's. I'm still learning about the Solara. I also work on my cars and I don't waste money letting a shop do it... unless I don't have the tools.
Afew things I want to know of that are off the top of my head:
1. Intercoolers... big difference or not worth my time.
2. Since the boost is electronically controlled, is a SAFC out of the question.
3. How much psi can the stock internals of a 3.0 v6 handle.
I'll be looking up those questions and more.
