Hello from Normal, IL

I purchased a used 05 Tacoma DBL Cab Prerunner and the brakes feel rather soft. Is this normal? I traded out of an 04 F150 Supercrew because of all the problems I had. I read all the reviews about the tacoma so I went ahead and purchased one. I've now had it for nine months and so far so good. no problems other than the brakes. they feel too soft and compared to the F150. I would've purchaed a 07 tundra but I couldn't afford it at this time. maybe next year.
