Canada Noob from Vancouver Island

Hey, new here.. Im from Vancouver Island, B.C. Live in a small town north of Victoria.. my names Ryan btw.

Im building up a 1983 SR5 4x4, I live in the rust belt so its not pretty but its good enough!

Its got a bit of everything in it, 86 frame, 80 motor (20R), 83 Cab and registered as an 82!.. Definitely not a numbers matching truck! But its not like its some cherry 69 Camaro.

Heres what it was when I bought it, which by the way.. I paid $500 for which included enough parts to build another truck besides a cab and boxes because they all rot our here, Ive got a total of 1400 into this thing so far because I sold off alot of the parts and crap I got with the truck.

And heres as it sits today.. about 4-5" of lift, 33" Interco LTB's, Welded rear end.. lots more to come..

Actually, I lied.. heres how it sits right now:

As you can see I chopped the fenders in this pic, the other one is a little old, but its close enough..

Just getting ready to put the high steer on, aswell as a ubolt flip kit, long brake lines and the shocks. I recently picked up a Weber carburator and a header to up the power a little bit and replace the old worn out carb.

As you can see I chopped the fenders in this pic, the other one is a little old.

Well, thats enough for now, il post a build truck in the pre-88 truck forum for anyone interested, Im shortening the wheelbase 10", putting a "flat" deck on it much more..
