Bought my first Toyota 4Runner 7 years ago, now turned into an out of control hobby. Have at least 15 now, luckily I'm on 2 acres outside of town. Have 4 daily drivers, 85 BJ70 Diesel, 84 BJ60 Diesel, 95 V6 4Runner and 85 4Runner.
The 70 has become the wifes summer cruiser, the snow and salt here would eat it alive within a year or two, and the 60 is my daily driver tow truck. Lot of people tell you the 3B has no power, thats true top end, but I have towed another BJ60 on a 2000lb trailer putting the Gross weight well over 12000lbs with no problem, just can't get over 90k out of the old girl. Has enough torque to pull a house down. Running all my diesels on Bio now, seem to get the same mileage, little better power, and no black smoke. Big plus is the stuff is made from waste margarine that would have ended up in the landfill.
A parts truck BJ60, and a 77FJ45 I recently built. Currently working on a 1985 BJ70 restoration.
